Content Scanning is where computer-controlled units will consider the Template:TTL and Template:TTL values of units within transports, as well as that of the transport itself, when looking for threats. If content scanning is on, the passenger and transport Template:TTL and Template:TTL values are added together to give a total threat value, which the AI then uses. In all other cases, only the Template:TTL and Template:TTL of the transport are used.
