Values: Signed integers: All whole numbers from -2147483648 to 2147483647; in rare cases, only from -32768 to 32767.

This flag stores the value user has selected for the "Difficulty" slider in Game Options. 0 corresponds to "Easy", 1 - "Normal", 2 - "Hard".

As an object

The games allow customizing the effect each difficulty has ingame. Settings for "Easy" are contained in [Easy], for "Normal" - in [Normal], for "Difficult" - in [Difficult]. Consult those pages for more detailed information.
