Used in single player missions only. This is used for the place on the map where the player starts the mission. It is used because in many single player missions the player does not have an MCV, so the effect of this is that should the player hit the 'H' key (i.e. change map view to home) then he will be sent to this waypoint in the absence of an MCV. This waypoint is sometimes allocated the number 99 but varies greatly between single player missions. See the Waypoints section for more details on waypoints.

Specifies the player's home waypoint. Applicable to single-player mission maps only.

At the beginning of the mission, the player's view is centered around this waypoint. In addition, if the player has no MCV or Construction Yard, pressing the hotkey for the "home" command (by default [H]) will move the player's view back to this waypoint.
