The prequel to Red Alert 2 made by Westwood Studios.
Two add on packs were spawned called CounterStrike & Aftermath which were bundled onto an Play Station 1 format called Retaliation.
Red Alert is no longer "offically sold" but if found it should be purchased.
Red Alert arguably has a far gritter storyline (its a lot darker and violent) and a intense musical score, plus difficult missions!
Units such as tesla troopers, migs, demolition trucks and tesla tanks were originally born by Red Alert.
