Although no subterranean units appear in Red Alert 2 they can be enabled and used perfectly as they do in Tiberian Sun. This value is used by the subterranean Locomotor= to determine how fast those units move when underground. This value also applies to units that move through tunnels on the map.

This flag determines how fast vehicles with the subterranean locomotor will travel vertically, i.e. when submerging to or emerging from the ground. It also controls how fast the unit rotates as it begins to burrow or as it emerges from the ground. Higher values indicate faster speed.

Note: This flag does not control how fast units move horizontally when underground – that setting is hardcoded.
