Usage:

{{plain|link}}

Copy-paste the code above and replace "link" with an external link; the template removes the special external link indicator. If your URL includes equal-signs, use {{plain|1=link}} instead.

Example:

Normal: [http://forums.renegadeprojects.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=7 Forums] - Plain: {{plain|1=[http://forums.renegadeprojects.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=7 Forums]}}

gives: Normal: Forums - Plain: Forums
